The Ring of Vigour.

The Ring of Vigour is a unique ring purchasable from the Dungeoneering Tutor at a price of 60,000 Dungeoneering tokens. It reduces the cost of a special attack by 10% of the original cost.

Stats Of Ring of VigourEdit

Its stats are somewhat comparable to the Berserker ring, as it has +3 strength bonus compared to the +4 strength bonus of the Berserker ring, which is a very small difference, and can almost be ignored. However, it lacks the +4 crush defence bonus of a Berserker ring.

The ring reduces the cost of the special attack by 10% of the special attack.

E.g. The special attack of Dragon Claws would normally need 50% special. With the Ring of Vigour on, it would only need 45% of the special attack bar. 50% divide by 10% = 5%. This would reduce it to 45% per special attack.

Uses Of The Ring Of VigourEdit

The Ring of Vigour may NOT be useful as there are many instances where an extra special may be used. One of the NON useful times to use Ring of Vigour is when you are using the Dragon Scimitar special to DISABLE protection prayers and then two 25% specials (Dragon Dagger) (Vesta Long Sword). This would use only 100% and the Ring would NOT be required.

Here are some instances where an extra special can be used.

Magic Shortbow original special cost = 55%. One special may be used per special bar.

Special Attack with Ring = 49.5%. You can use two special attacks (49.5% + 49.5% = 99.5%).

Dragon Claws uses 50% special and the Korasi Sword uses 60% special. (50% + 60% = 110%).

Special Attack with Ring = 45% for Dragon Claws and 56% for Korasi Sword. (45% + 54% = 99%).
